Burden of fatigue in myeloproliferative disorders

This is a study by Prof Ruben Mesa et al of the Mayo Clinic, US which identifies fatigue as the major contributor to poor quality of life in MPD, provides baseline information on constitutional symptoms, and underscores the need for the incorporation of quality of life assessment in clinical trials. Professor Ruben Mesa, MD (Medical Doctor) is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology and is director of the Acute and Chronic Leukemias Program in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at Mayo Clinic in the United States. Prof Mesa is also a professor of medicine.
